These two pictures show the vent hole alignment at a slight angle so you can see the edge of the plates. Keep these perfectly aligned and assembly will be perfect. Of course, sometimes the gasket may be too thick at this location and the gasket will have to be moved out from protruding into the vent hole. You can even trim some of the gasket material at these corners should they cause a problem.
