In this picture the cell is pre-assembled with nylon bolts with 3/8 inch nylon bolts inserted in the vent holes to maintain plate alignment. Using nylon bolts you won't need the 1/4 inch vinyl tube sleeves as these nylon bolts are not going to short anything out. You could still use the 1/4 inch vinyl sleeves to assist in alignment if you like. Using these nylon bolts keeps these two contained cells separate which means you can switch or pulse them separately too. In order to finish this assembly the fitting plates need to be added. Better to unbolt only the four bolts near only one corner at a time to prevent plate shifting since you'll have to remove the 3/8 inch nylon alignment bolt from the vent hole when you install the fitting plates. The following pictures will illustrate this in detail including the fabrication of the end plates themselves.
