Wiring in Red, from battery to relay and from relay to cell should be heavy gauge in case the cell is to be run at high amperages. Use 10-12 gauge wire and heavy duty wire connectors. Relay should be a 40 amp relay to prevent getting hot after extended periods of operation and to prevent high resistance from lowering cell productivity. In this configuration the cell is bolted to the vehicle frame and grounded via the outside plates. Therefore all that is needed is one positive wire connected to the center plate from the relay.
