Since my spring was a little short I found this bolt and nylon threaded spacer in my inventory of leftover parts I've saved from other projects to act as a shim. That way I don't have to run to the hardware store to buy a longer spring. This piece will go into that last end cap just above it in this picture once it is drilled and tapped for a hose fitting.
