Drilling the 1/4 inch holes with the PVC pipe support in place. This was much easier than I expected and went smoothly. Drilling stainless steel does require special drill bits however. Don't attempt this with carbon bits or you won't get very far and probably over heat the tubes. To save time I drilled the opposing holes while the PVC pipe support was in place. I would move it to line up two more opposing holes and then drill them. I used plenty of lubricating oil to cool the bits.
