I needed to plan ahead here. I used the left over piece of tube that I cut to make the electrodes as a stand to hold
this assembly while the JB Weld hardens. The bolts jutting out from the bottom prevent us from just setting it on a
table. This way I can not only set this up, but add some weight to hold the electrodes into place. In this picture I've
already added the JB Weld and pushed the electrodes down into the slot. Excess JB Weld oozed out then evened itself out
once the tubes were securely in place. I forgot to photograph it, but then I screwed the threaded CPVC tube onto the
end cap to make sure it was centered inside the tube. Since there wasn't much space between the inside wall of the CPVC
tube and the electrodes I did this by eye. I used nylon tie straps as shims to evenly space the inner tube from the
outer. Watch out if you do this to be sure not to push them too far in so they don't contact the JB Weld at the bottom
in case the straps or shims are very long. Once that JB Weld hardens you'll never get them out if they are touching it.
I put marks on mine to be sure and still went conservatively on how far down I pushed them. It wouldn't hurt to cut
them to a safe length prior to beginning this step.
